Hanging on to or Releasing Your Limitations

I conducted a leadership summit for my network a couple weeks ago.  It really was a smashing success, with hundreds of people having the breakthrough they came there looking for.

Other people came looking for proof that the limitations they had were real.  And they found it.

There is a much-repeated statement in personal development.  I’m not sure who said it, but it probably was Jim Rohn.  The statement goes, “Only argue for the limitations you want to keep.”  And that’s what those people did.

“But I just don’t know that many people.”
“I’m not very good at making presentations.”
“No one I know has any money.”
“I’m not good at selling anything.”
“No one is going to buy anything.”

Of course everything they argue for, their subconscious mind forces to be true.  If you argue for a limitation – you’ll most certainly get to keep it.  So how are YOU doing on all this?

I enjoy reading focus points, and you never truly know when, despite having heard them or read them countless times, suddenly lightening strikes and you get it. Thank you Randy for your devotion to enlightenment.

Great post! Studing belief systems has been a great a ha for me. This was the missing piece of the puzzle of why I was not manifesting everything I wanted in my life or my business. Get this….and watch the magic start to happen! Realizing that what you believe is not necessarily what is true is very freeing. Create the belief systems that are in line with your vision. Monitor your self-talk and ask yourself…does this thought serve me? If not, chuck it as fast as possible and create a new thought!!! xo

  5. oh ya this was me but I keep trying. Don’t forget that old saying practice makes perfect I now don’t have any problems selling or giving presentations.

    -RG,

At first it was difficult to get my head around this attraction stuff.

Until I looked at from the reverse, and realized that if all the negative stuff was happening and true, then the opposite must also be true.
