It May Not Be Sexy

Send to Kindle

Dare I say it?

It may not be sexy to talk about the core, fundamental strategies for growing a Network Marketing organization today.

I get that…

Everyone wants to sell you lead generation systems, downline building services, or tell you that you can sit home in your bunny slippers doing social media posts.  If you believe that, you can stop reading now.

Since you’re still here, let me tell you what’s actually sexy.  Duplication is sexy. Helping new people break ranks is sexy.  Actually making money is sexy.  So let this note just serve as a reminder…

  • It’s not what works – it’s what duplicates
  • It doesn’t matter if you make fast money – if your people aren’t making money, your income is going to dry up.
  • Building a large successful market is not easy; it’s not supposed to be.
  • But building a large network that achieves steady growth is simple.  It’s done by leading a large group of people, to follow some simple actions over a sustained period of time.

So if you’re ready to enroll more people that duplicate, build a solid residual income, and develop strong leaders who beget more leaders – let’s talk about the no-nonsense resources that will actually do that for you.

The 3 “Must-Have” Resources of every serious Network Marketer…

How to Build A Multi-Level Money Machine

This book will teach you how the business actually works, what a duplicable system looks like, how to set one up and how to get started.  Get it here:

Duplication Nation: How to Earn At Least $250,000 a Year in Network Marketing

This album contains 12 training segments that will teach you the specific skill sets you need to be successful in the business.  You’ll learn exactly how to prospect people, make compelling invitations, conduct powerful presentations, run home and hotel meetings, work long distance lines, and then start developing leaders.  Get it here:

Making the First Circle Work

This book will do two very important things for you.  First, it will teach you the strategies to model that build true duplication in your team.  Second, it will teach you and them how to turn hope into belief, and then harness that belief to drive depth way deep down your lines.  Get it here (Get at least ten):

If you don’t have all 3 resources, you need to get them now.  No serious leader in our profession is without them.

Once you’ve finished going through these resources, put them into use.  Don’t look left, don’t look right, just follow the process and get true duplication going deep down your team.

When your monthly bonus check gets up to at least $5,000 a month, then you’re ready for advanced leadership training and should invest in the Mega-MLM Home Study program.  This is the most advanced, intensive, high-level leadership training that has ever been done in our profession.  You’ll find it here:

Please.  Kill the distractions.  Stop looking for shortcuts.  Do the stuff that actually works.   Now let me give you some homework:

1)   Forward the message or blog to everyone on your team.

2)  Pick up the phone and personally call all of your serious personally sponsored distributors and tell them about the email.

3)  Read both books and go through all 12 training segments of DN.  I don’t care if you’ve read one of the books ten times.  If you haven’t read it within the last 2 months, read it again.  Obviously you’ve been distracted by bad advice and got off track.  I want you back laser-focused on your strategy.

4)  Update your candidate list.  Yeah, yeah, I know you did this before.  Do it again.  Make it FRESH!  There are people who said no that you should revisit because things in their lives have changed.  Maybe you made a lousy approach the first time.  Maybe you have some new products, or contents to update them with.

5)  Get to work!

I hope you take all this in the spirit it is intended.  I want you to succeed.  I really, really do.  And while the business isn’t easy, it is simple.  First it takes becoming proficient in four basic skills sets:

1)   Meeting People

2)   Working a Candidate List

3)   Making Compelling Invitations

4)   Follow Up

The first three resources will teach you exactly how to do all this.  Those skills will take you to through the $250,000-a-year barrier.   But as soon as you crack 5K a month, get going on the Mega-MLM training.  That will give you the leadership and management skills to lead a huge organization.

Thanks for being committed.  And thanks for being a part of our profession.  It’s making a difference for a lot of people.  And I want to make sure it does for you as well!

    Hello Randy!

This message comes just in time for me, i have been very unfocused on my business, re-studying all these 3 resources has shown me what i am doing wrong and what do i need to do to get in track.

Though, there is something i would like to ask you, i suspect i might have some kind of negative belief in my mind that makes me see things this way but, by going out and making friends for the purpose of inviting them into my business, isn’t that like, using people for my benefit?

I know network marketing can give you a sexy lifestyle, but making a friendship with one stranger in the street, just to phone him/her 2 days later to invite said stranger into my company, feels like i am annoying them with something they are not likely to be interested, and just being friendly because looking the benefit to add them to my network.

Or at lease, that’s how i think people would perceive me if i were to do such a thing, again, i am sure all of this its some kind of negative belief inside my mind that is sabotaging me, so, maybe someone reading this blog had the same idea and experienced something that made him/her believe the opposite, id be grateful if they share it.

    Hi Randy,

Thank you for reminding all network marketers to focus on those important basic elements that you mentioned here. There is indeed no shortcuts. Or, perhaps by following leaders like you IS the short cut.

There is so much confusing information out there. Why not stick to something simple that have proven to work? Duplication is key! We inspire others to do the right steps and stay focused.

    With great appreciation, Randy!

  12. Hey Randy, love your brutal honestly in this post. I think that’s one of the main reasons why the mlm industry gets such a bad reputation, there are way too many sponsors out there that tell people just about anything they want to hear to get them to join their team. So many times I’ve heard ”I’ll build your downline for you” and when it doesn’t work out, the newbie walks away after having a negative experience. At the end of the day though, the last thing you want for your mlm business is to attract those type of people, the tyre kickers and wantrapreneurs ha. They will quit eventually, only a matter of time.

Thanks for sharing, keep it up.

“It may not be sexy to talk about the core, fundamental strategies for growing a Network Marketing organization today.” I hear you on that Randy. It can’t be said much better.

The problem is that what every one wants is instant sexy, fast mlm success and so that’s what everybody’s selling… the tip of the iceberg of mlm success which is VERY sexy, but without telling people what’s at the base of it. aka the core fundamentals.

Thanks for keeping it real! Live Luxe Or Die!
