The leaders from Costa Rica, Brazil and Mexico asked me to record short videos for playback to the team members back in those markets. And the leaders from Ukraine and Colombia had me record videos promoting upcoming events in those countries.
They were all done with no special lighting, editing or effects, with HD flip cams that retail for about $200. These are already posted online and will be played at events in those markets as well. Each one was five minutes or less, yet they provide a direct pipeline to communicate with the field with immediacy, passion, and the human touch.
What a simple yet elegant way to use technology for staying in touch and bringing your team together. Are you doing this in your group? Have any others things like this you’re doing? Please share your insights below with the community.

These are videos made specifically for my company, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing them here, since this is a generic forum. But I’m sure you can understand the concept and how you can apply it in your own company.
