Working Smart for Success

Let me give you a million-dollar tip:  Work with the people that deserve it, not the ones that need it.  Then teach people what they have to do to deserve you.

The beaches of the world are bleached with the bones of people that had “potential.”  You can’t build with potential; you build with people that are willing to act.  I have at least five people in my organization that could make more than $100,000 a month in the biz.  But they won’t focus on it.  So I’d rather work with someone that may only appear to have potential for $5,000 a month, but they are coachable and in the game.  And those are the ones that end up making $100,000 plus.

Likewise, there are lots of people that “need” success.  But they don’t have the discipline to get past the TV remote control.  It’s not your responsibility to save them.  Trying to do this only takes your valuable time away from the people that deserve your help.  So work with the people that are working!

What a great post!! I see this happening on a daily basis. It saddens me to see such wonderful people with great potential but they go absolutely NO where because they lack focus and let fear set it.

I appreciate you:-)

This is one of your most accurate posts. I tell my people that Habits = Results. Don’t like your results, then change your habits. (i.e. your example of the remote control)

This is so true!

Sometimes we get so caught up in wanting it more for others than they want it for themselves, that we wind up wasting our precious time on them when we could be spending it finding the people that do want to take action.

You can lead a horse to water, but can’t make it drink.

Thanks, Randy!

Hi Guys

The whole point about sponsoring is to find the right people not just anybody. Experience will teach you the warning signs. Don’t beat your self up about losing these people, thats just the way it is, its not your fault.
You can’t change people, just alter them around the edges a bit. The right ones make it so worth while!
